Seedr works with the storage you already use. Here is what is new for connecting it, moving files between your clouds and Seedr, and keeping your account safe.

Add external storage from the + menu

Use the + menu in your files to connect external storage and browse it next to your Seedr files. External storage is part of paid plans, and free accounts can use it until 21 October. How many connections you can add depends on your plan.

Google Drive works like a real folder

Copy a whole Google Drive folder into Seedr and its folders are kept as a tree. You can move, rename and delete files in Drive from inside Seedr: deleted files go to your Drive trash. Cut, copy, paste and drag files between Seedr and your cloud accounts, and see Drive thumbnails and image previews in search. If your Google sign-in expires, you are no longer signed out of Seedr.

Cloud transfers resume and retry

Transfers from a connected cloud account (Google Drive and other connected storage) now resume from the partial file after an interruption, retry temporary errors automatically, and check the file while it streams in, without reading it a second time (11 October). This applies to connected storage on paid plans.

Convert files in your cloud accounts

You can convert a file that lives in a connected cloud account. The converted file is saved beside the original. This needs a paid plan.

See and sign out your sessions

Settings, Security now shows every device signed in to your account. You can sign out a single device, sign out all other devices at once, and forget devices you marked as trusted for two-factor sign-in.

Two-factor sign-in and its recovery codes are set up on the same page.

Korean, Ukrainian, Arabic and Hebrew

You can now choose Korean, Ukrainian, Arabic or Hebrew as the language of Seedr. Arabic and Hebrew are shown right to left.
